A few weeks ago our U.S. team packed their bags and traveled across thirteen time zones to visit our editing and development team in the Philippines. It can be a bit tricky to explain to the people we meet how exactly our company works. ‘Wait, you’re in the U.S. but also in the Philippines? How does that work?‘ and it can be a bit difficult to wrap your mind around at first. On the surface, we are a company for real estate photographers to outsource their editing to free up their time and help grow their business.
Deeper though, we have a team of around twenty dedicated staff at our office in the Philippines. These are the men and women who are our editors and website developers, and they are the heart of our company. We exist to help and make a difference in the lives of working photographers, but we also exist because we desire to make a difference in areas of the world where employment opportunities are low, and where meaningful, creative work can be hard to come by.
It’s a privilege to team up with these bright and passionate people and work together to create something meaningful with our business.
We wish we could have packed you all in our luggage and taken you with us to give you a glimpse into this amazing place. But since we couldn’t, we’re looking forward to doing the next best thing, which is sharing with you here more of our story in the Philippines and how we are hoping to make a difference through the employee development and community programs that we’re getting underway.
